Blueberry Vanilla Yogurt Popsicles
Blueberry Vanilla Yogurt Popsicles
makes approximately 10 popsicles
3 ½ cups of low fat vanilla yogurt
2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen defrosted
1 tablespoon honey

In a small bowl, stir honey and blueberries together. Set aside.

In a blender combine blueberries and 2 cups yogurt, blend until a smooth consistency is achieved

Fill popsicle molds with 1½ cups yogurt.  Layer blueberry mixture on top.  Freeze 4-24 hours, until popsicles are frozen through.
If you do this please take pictures to let me know how they all turned out...cause I am not sure how exactly it would look like...prob diff. from the picture. If you find anymore popsickle ideas as well please feel free to comment and let me know!

Give flower seeds with little pots to your valentine. Use a rubber stamp to make hearts and sweet messages on the packets. How cute is this to make!! :)  I can not wait to make this for somebody special!

Knot Bracelet
Two types of knots, which are symbols of everlasting unity, are showcased in colorful bracelets. These look very easy and fun to make! When I make some...I will upload mine!

Tools and Materials

  • Liquid seam sealant
  • Tweezers
  • Cord or ribbon
  • Buttons
  • Foam board
  • Dressmaker pins

Knot Bracelet How-To

1. Choose nylon or silk cord, or velvet ribbon. A 4-mm width is easiest to work with. Use about 45 inches of cord or ribbon for a 7-inch bracelet. You'll also need liquid seam sealant, tweezers, buttons, a foam board, and dressmaker pins, as shown here.
2. Cut cord to size, and seal ends with seam sealant. Thread through buttonholes, keeping ends even, and lay face down on foam board. Insert pin through one buttonhole and cord to secure. Make S bend with end A, securing by winding around pins; pierce cord with pin at top right corner of S bend. Weave end B over first horizontal segment of S bend, and under the next two.
3. Weave end B back over all three horizontal segments of A . Then weave it back up, under the bottom two segments and over the top segment. Remove pins. Using both hands, carefully pull cord as indicated left, making a loose knot.
4. Using tweezers, gently tug up on knot where indicated above and slide knot so it's about 1 1/2 inches from the button. (The back of the knot will resemble the one far left; the front will resemble far right.) Use tweezers to tighten knot. Pin it to foam board, and secure. Continue adding evenly spaced knots.
5. When bracelet is desired length, pinch loose ends together, and tie an overhand knot. Trim the excess cord; seal ends with seam sealant.

Sweet Surprises

If you're giving chocolates as a gift, count the ways sweetly on small paper disks, and place one beneath each candy

PLUS SIZE IS GREAT!

Hello!!!

Thank you for coming back to my page its been a honor opening this site and sharing all my craziness with you all!  Today it has been on my mind that I do want to promote the plus size fashion out there with tips and pointers on how to dress when we have a little more than we want...and still feel comfortable.  I know that I am way over the weight limit that I would want to be, but I am happy regardless.  Most of it is because when I put on something that makes me feel great I have a huge rush of confidence and I feel like well...im sure you know or have had that feeling lol.

Make sure that you have something that works your complexion, and matches your mood...If your not feeling jeans, do some cute leggings! I feel amazing in my leggings and trust me they feel AMAZING!

Ok...Obviously this girl is not that plus size....Being a size 14 to be is not a plus size...but she was wearing the perfect leggings i wanted to explain...slouchy cute top not too reveling and some cute boots....(mine never want to stay on) but still cute!

Confidence is SO key here or your just going to have a crappy day...and for me that is way too often.

Next:  lets talk shoes.  NOW  I CAN NOT DO HEELS...but i love seeing plus size models wearing them because it gives me hope that maybe oneday my feet wont hurt so much in them! haha

This girl shoes are perfect with the heels I am talking about...good arch and heel is like WHOA! I TOTALLY WISH I COULD HAVE HER CONFIDENCE... here i am stuck wearing flats...but I shouldn't I'm pretty sure i have tons of heels i just buy and never wear...maybe i should take my own advice.

Well anyways next but not least THE LINGERIE:

Picture states it perfectly...SEXY has no size limit...I'm pretty sure I have had no problem with guys being my size...most good guys don't care and if they do hunny then you better run to the next one...who WILL be missing out!

If we let the curve rule us then...we will be stuck crying over the last diet that never worked....and duh they never work because they aren't fool proof. They are the biggest myth out there that just want you to buy the book, fail and then go buy another book that someone else wrote...they make so much money of that crap...but what people should be doing is making more plus size affordable clothing stores...I hate having to pick from a whopping 2 stores that have clothes out the whazoo...and the prices with it...just cause I'm more blessed than the person next to me does not mean i need to pay a extra 35 dollars for a top the size 3 girl got for 5 dollars at forever 21....ugh that just irritates me...but apart from rambling...lets talk comfy in the lingerie!!!!  I am a teddy fanatic...but my problem is getting it and loving it at the store but when i put it on at home I HATE IT! and never wear it... so that is why I have decided to bring a friend to help me...tell me if it would look good...cause we look so different in person than what we see in the mirror....and it changes constantly.I have personally realized that longer things work better than the short ones... GIRLS IF WE JUST LEARN TO HAVE CONFIDENCE...we can show the world how great it really is to flaunt every curve that we have! I plan to make the pact and never walk outside again unless i feel amazing about the person I am in the body I have been given!!!

Make it with me :)  Until next time!

ATTENTION ALL IDEA SEEKERS...

If you are anything like me, you absolutely love expressing your ideas through new crafts...well I wanted to share with you a couple of crafts I have done lately and get some feedback on new ideas!

To start my first project was this cute looking cup with sharpie:

Pride & Prejudice is my all time favorite book, and also movie. So it’s fitting that today my Mr. Darcy proposal tea mug came in the mail this afternoon. Is it possible to be in love with a cup? Because I think that’s currently happening right now. I bought it from this lovely Jane Austen inspired etsy shop, Brookish.
I actually did it word by word and it worked!

NEXT was the idea for the date night...with different prices:

Married people should still date each other:) Date night jar made with color coded popsicle sticks. Red=$$$ and planning required Pink=minimal $ and spontaneous White=Stay at home date Cute ideas included!!!!! This is one of the best "date jars" I have seen
Different colors for different priced themes for date night to spice things up!

Last but not least:

Make Your Own Moisturizing Body Butter ~~ This stuff is an absolute MUST during the winter months! Make as a gift too!

AMAZING BODY BUTTER...if i do say so myself :)

My next blog will be how to make all these items and I hope to have comments before then and please give ideas...I was thinking of turning this new blog into more than just DIY...like maybe workout routines and a fashionista site!

NEXT TIME :) -ASHLEY

YUMMY VALENTINE :)

Valentine's Day Strawberry Cake-In-A-Jar

I just wanted to share this amazing idea I found on a blog from PINTREST :) To all my friends and loved ones....ENJOY!!

INGREDIENTS:
1 18 oz. box Strawberry Cake Mix
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
red food coloring

Let's Start:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray three 8" round cake pans with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
2. Blend the cake mix, water, oil, eggs and sour cream in a large bowl until all ingredients are moistened. Using a had mixer, beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
3. Pour 1/3 of the strawberry cake batter into one of the cake pans.
4. Add a 7-9 drops of food coloring to the remaining batter. Mix thoroughly. Pour half of that batter the second cake pan.
5. To the of the batter add 5-7 more drops of red food coloring. Mix thoroughly. Pour this batter into the last empty cake pan.
6. You should have three pans, with even amount of cake batter, in three shades: pink, red, and dark red. You can add as much or as little food coloring as you'd like to customize your shades of pink & red.
7. Bake cakes for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Remove from oven and let the cakes cool completely.
8. Using a round biscuit cutter, or any other object the same diameter as your mason jars, cut 9 circles out of each cake. You will have 27 circles total- 9 in each shade. Set these aside while you make the frosting.

Cream Cheese Frosting:

INGREDIENTS:

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup butter, softened

3-4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

DIRECTIONS:

1. In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter until creamy.
2. Mix in vanilla and then gradually mix in the confectioners' sugar. Add more or less sugar, depending on how creamy or stiff you like your frosting.
3. Put the dark red cake circles in the bottom of your mason jars. Using a spoon or a pastry bag, pipe 1 tablespoon of frosting on top of the cake circle.
4. Next, put the bright red cake circles on top of the frosting. Top with another tablespoon of frosting. Repeat with the pink cake circles. Top with some pink sprinkles and eat up!

Enjoy!
